Broomdasher begin their busiest ever Festival Season with a performance at the country’s biggest free Folk Festival at Leigh on Sea in June – followed by shows right through til October
They follow Leigh with a spot on the main stage at Stainsby Folk Festival in Derbyshire on Saturday 20th July.
Then they have a bumper crop of autumn appearances at South Downs Folk Festival on Saturday 21 September; Charmouth Folk Festival on Saturday 28th September and Tenterden Folk Festival on Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th October
Broomdasher’s six unaccompanied voices sing traditional English folk songs. In their first two years, they’ve been re-booked everywhere they’ve sung and their debut album Nothing To Do With Me has been positively received:
