Chris Country listeners are set to enjoy exclusive country session recordings, never before heard on radio, thanks to a new partnership with Under The Apple Tree.
The new “Under The Apple Tree Radio” show will run for eight weeks from Sunday 28th May, and is presented by Miles Myerscough-Harris, son of legendary country radio presenter Bob Harris. The programmes contain sessions recorded at their famous studio in Oxfordshire.
Miles says: “We’ve been recording Under The Apple Tree sessions for three years now, and I’m delighted to be sharing highlights from our catalogue every week on Chris Country. From familiar songs performed by artists you love, to some really cool interpretations of tracks you’ll know from elsewhere, I can’t wait to share them with Chris Country’s listeners across the UK.”
Chris Country Programme Director Chris Stevens, added: “We’re committed to bringing exclusive and exciting country music to our listeners, and Under The Apple Tree’s live sessions are superb. We’re pleased to welcome Miles to the station.”
