Fans of folk music and British talent are in for a treat as renowned artist Maddy Prior is taking her stunning vocals and musical abilities into venues across the UK throughout October 2017. Once again, she’ll be joining forces with skilful Hannah James and stunning instrumentalist Giles Lewin. Together the brilliant trio will take audiences on a journey of music from the British Isles and Eastern Europe in their daring acoustic style that enhances the fine vocals on display.
Folk music fans can start their Christmas celebrations early with the help of the Albion Christmas Band when the band hits the road for its annual tour on Saturday 9 December.

Last month, for the first time in four years, the acclaimed and beloved Providence, RI band Deer Tick released new music into the world in the shape of two new albums; Vol.1 and Vol.2. Riding a wave of support from media and fans on both sides of the Atlantic, the band can now announce that they’ll bring their exhilarating live show back to the UK / EU early next year, playing at Celtic Connections in Glasgow, as well as what will be a huge headline set at London’s Islington Assembly Hall.
Trio Dhoore are a young and talented band of musical brothers from Flanders in Belgium. Their extensive repertoire of traditional Flemish tunes is punctuated by song and many of their own compositions. This mix all goes to provide their audiences with a soundscape where traditional and contemporary music, melancholy melodies and intuitive interplay merge to unique effect.
