*LATEST NEWS

We are currently rehearsing for the Christmas Tour – Paul, Dik, and I are really looking forward to bringing

ALL ON A WINTER’S NIGHT to venues in Cambridgeshire, Wiltshire, Bedfordshire, Worcestershire, Devon, and of course our home county of Gloucestershire.

So do book your tickets now! See below for all the details of dates and venues.

There’s a great review of the new album in the current issue of The Living Tradition magazine  – see below for the full review –

And you’ve been sending in some wonderful comments and feedback…again see the emails and comments below.

Many thanks for your recent support at concerts and clubs last month.

Had a great time in Lingfield, Oakridge Village Hall, Dartford Folk Club, as well as the Le Jeuss Reunion with Martyn Wyndham-Read, Carolyn Robson, Stan Graham and so many others for a great few days at Halsway Manor in Somerset. On the first evening we all paid tribute to the late great Vin Garbutt with a concert full of his songs.

Recent gigs I’ve enjoyed include Carmina at Bristol, the Low Chimes album launch at The Goods Shed in Stroud, Edgelarks in Painswick, Velvet & Stone at The Prince Albert, Colin Pitts and Si Barron at Barny’s in Stroud, and

Mary-Jess at Gloucester Cathedral.

On TV – on Vintage TV, I loved the live sessions from Americana singer/songwriter Patty Griffin, and Newton Faulkner plus interviews with Paul BradyJudy Collins, and Paul Young – then there was the BBC documentary and concert by the late George Michael.

I was very sad to hear about the passing of Tom Paley, and Fats Domino (”Blueberry Hill”,  “Ain’t That a Shame”).
