As well as the big folk names you would expect, such as multi award winners Show of Hands, Martin Simpson, Chris Wood, Eddi Reader and Jon Boden, we love to introduce something new. | Taking Inspiration |
| Always trying to push ourselves in terms of programme and look locally for inspiration, we have confirmed some great names. Ivor Novello Award winning songwriter and BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music favourite Scott Matthews, originally out of Birmingham and massively influenced by the likes of Marc Bolan, Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley, has recently supported the Alison Krauss & Robert Plant tour.Dubbed the English answer to popular US acts such as Grizzly Bear, Department of Eagles and Fleet Foxes, The Leisure Society, who originally hail from Burton-on-Trent (just down the road from the site), are cited by Brian Eno as “The only other thing I’ve been listening to lately with enthusiasm”. They have recently received rave reviews in the national press for their live show.see the line-up…

| Do it your way….Camp, Hotel or pop down for the day….We’ll help make it easy. |
We have an amazing campsite for you at Catton. Beautifully flat with great showers and toilets and a real community atmosphere so do join the crowd and camp with us if you can.However, if camping is really not your thing then you could stay in any one of a huge raft of hotels found in the area. From B&Bs just down the road to the bigger hotel chains (you know what you’re getting), just a little further afield in Burton.There will be a shuttle service to a limited number of these hotels and to the railway station for pick-ups. More details on this will be published as we firm them up but in the meantime no need to delay your booking…..WE WILL arrange pick-ups to and from these hotels!Burton-on-Trent Travelodge
